Talk With Me

What is it?

Families will be offered six visits to provide support from a trained early years profesional to give their child’s speech language and communication skills a boost when it matters the most. There are also options to attend Talk Groups at local Children’s Centres which support and encourage speech strategies. The group sessions are creative, fun and interactive.

Practitioners can meet parents in the most appropriate place, i.e. their home or within a Children’s Centre group. Talk Groups are held at local Children’s Centres.

Who is it for?

Children aged between 1 and 3 years needing additional support with speech, language and communication skills.

Is a referral required?

Referrals will be made following a Wellcomm assessment by the family Health Visitor. Talk With Me group sessions can be accessed by any family living in Blackpool. To found out more or request a place call or email.
