What is it?
Baby Steps is facilitated by Family Engagement Workers, Midwives and Health Visitors supporting families from around the 28th week of pregnancy.
It provides the opportunity for participants to meet other parents-to-be , as well as professionals who can answer questions about labour, delivery and infant feeding.
There are approximately seven weekly sessions before baby is born and three weekly sessions once baby has arrived.
Who is it for?
Expectant mums, partners and carers living in a Blackpool postcode area.
Is a referral required?
Midwives can refer expectant parents into this scheme when they first become pregnant. Any families who want to check their referral or want to attend can contact the Baby Steps team directly.
