What’s on at Palatine Library?

A bright and colourful early year’s reading area at Palatine Library offers a fun way for little ones to explore a great selection of picture and story books.

The reading area includes a fantastic bookcase built by our own Blackpool dads! Even small babies will enjoy cuddling up with and sharing books – they love to listen to your voice, touch the book, look at the pictures and follow a story from start to finish.
Palatine Library holds a free, weekly Baby Bounce & Rhyme session where babies and young children can enjoy nursery rhymes and playing with musical instruments.

Go along and find out more about the Blackpool Better Start FRED project (Fathers Reading Every Day), supporting support dads, granddads, big brothers, and other male role models to regularly read to their children.
