What’s on at Central Library?
A bright and colourful early year’s reading area at Central Library offers a fun way for little ones to explore a great selection of picture and story books.
The reading area includes a soft play and a fantastic bookcase built by our own Blackpool dads! Even small babies will enjoy cuddling up with and sharing books – they love to listen to your voice, touch the book, look at the pictures and follow a story from start to finish.
Organised activities for early years include craft workshops and storytime sessions.
Go along and find out more about the Blackpool Better Start FRED project (Fathers Reading Every Day), supporting support dads, granddads, big brothers, and other male role models to regularly read to their children.
