Ready Steady School aims to help you and your little one prepare for September with information about what to expect and how to get ready for school.

If you have a child starting school in September 2026, our free play sessions
will help you and your child get ready for Reception class.

Sessions are held at Family Hubs across the town. No need to book, just turn up!

Families

All our services have been created with Blackpool parents, for Blackpool parents. These include parenting classes, stay and play groups, cost of living events and getting ready for school sessions. All activities are free and take place in the Family Hubs, in parks, libraries and other venues across the town. Come along to help your child’s learning and meet other Blackpool families.
