North Family Hub
North Family Hub is in the heart of the North Blackpool community offering families activities, events and support.
The North Family Hub at 31 Dingle Avenue (near Grange Park) is a warm, free space for families in Blackpool with children aged 0 to 19 (and up to 25 for special needs). Supported by Blackpool Council and Blackpool Better Start, this building is here to help you and your children play, learn, and get support.
Fun Activities for Kids
- Baby groups Sensory play, music, and rhyme time for your youngest little ones.
- Stay and play Stay-and-play sessions and fun after-school clubs.
- Story times Free books, snacks, and low-cost activity ideas you can try at home.
Food and Spaces to Relax
- Family Hub Café A friendly, budget-friendly spot for a cheap cup of tea and lunch. No booking is needed.
- Community space Clean, modern rooms where you and your children can feel safe and welcome.
Health and Practical Help
- Baby clinics Weekly drop-in sessions to check your baby’s weight and ask health questions.
- Birth registration A simple way to register your new baby’s birth right at the hub. (Mondays, limited availability)
- Parenting courses Helpful classes to guide you through different stages of raising children.
Extra Support for Families
- Money advice Drop-in help for bills, debt, and household budgeting.
- Mental health Support and friendly advice for your family’s emotional wellbeing.
- Health advice Sessions to help with healthy eating, quitting smoking, and family health.
Opening Times
- Hub hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Café hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.
